They have quite a few goodies there, don't they.
I want to make myself a bracket to mount a bag behind my solo Corbin Fastgun seat so I can mount a Kuryakyn bag for trips. I've been eyeballin' that Rivco luggage rack but I'm not real sure that will work for what I want. It looks nice though...

I know this isn't a rocket or Kuryakyn bag, but it might give you an idea what it will look like.

I've got a Kuryakyn Grantour Bag mounted on the back of my Rocket and love it. I looks good and provides a lot of space. It a top quality product. To mount it I built a custom rack out of 3/16 inch aluminum Cut one piece the shape of the bottom of the bag plus a curve to match the back edge of the seat. Then cut two side pieces that bolt to the fender struts. I remove the fender strut chrome when the rack is on since it covers the struts anyway. The three pieces were welded together. I still need to do some finish work on it (rounding off the edges mostly) and wil paint it back to match the fender. Under the bag you don't really even notice it.
If I ever get it finished I'll post pictures.

Kuryakyn has a "Grantour" bag that looks like it's big enough to hold a helmet and they say it will mount to a sissy bar/luggage rack. How about this? I have the tall sissy bar/luggage rack and I like to mount it on the back on the luggage rack.
Would this work? (without ANY fabrication or mechanical manipulation on my part).

I have the Grantour bag. Not mounted at this time on either bike. It will hold a helmet easy, I just tried it. It comes with a pad that goes under your passenger seat that has two rings on either side. The Grantour also has two rings on the bottom of each side, tightening straps between the pad and bag hold it securely. It also comes with additional longer straps for mounting to the sissy bar luggage rack. Very well made with 3 exterior compartments. Mine also came with a combination lock and a very nice rain cover.

I ain't got no passenger seat. I have a Corbin Dual Touring seat.
Do you have a luggage rack/sissy bar? If so, how does it fit onto that from the back?

Cool. I just visited a local shop and checked out a Kuryakyn Grandtour bag. A full-face helmet fits in it and it will go on the back of the luggage rack/sissy bar no sweat. I ordered one on line.
