Functionality at the expense of good looks? Hmmm... these items might look more in place mounted to an adventure bike such as the BMW R1200GS however if you are planning a London to Sydney overland ride on your Rocket, I suppose they might do the trick! Davo

Agree, bags like that on a Rocket are the aesthetic equivalent of putting brush guards and a winch on your Corvette. But hey if they get the job done travelling and are easy to take in the motel room at the end of the day, I'm not going to knock it--whatever floats yer boat

Boxy... but safe!

Can you put those little nekid trucker mudflap girls on there?

I'm just kidding.... I'll bet those hold a ton... If you were some kind of service tech that had to work on location those would be the cat's meow!

First I am envious that he is using the Rocket to carry that much stuff - or has the potential. Noticed an add for bike trailer in recent Cruiser magazine. Rather than pack on the bike, I might have opted to pull that much stuff behind using a bike trailer. Investment might be about the same.

Wow Traderjack,

I could be wrong but somewhere along the way, you have taken "elegance" out of Cartesian Logic with respect to the panniers.

Function over Form in the truest sense of the phrase on display here.

Unless you pull a trailer, you get the prize for most cargo space utilized on a Rocket III.

Congratulations my friend!
