Jamie.... I just looked at the photographs of before/after. You're right about the green. Really sets off the chrome and engine. By the way, I spent 3 years in Heidelberg, Germany and was in your beautiful country on many occasions. Geneva, Bodensee and Zurich are my favorites and maybe someday I'll brings the beast over and we'll ride the countryside.

Hello I am a new Rocket III owner. I was able to get a great on a 2005. My best friend and recent Speedmaster owner started the wheels on getting a triumph a few months back. Like most baby boomers we are either going or returning to a motorcycle. Triumph seems the best choice with everyone getting Harleys, not unique at all.

Hey Brother Lee, I'm as excited about that Rocket as you.

Well, almost. :-D

Welcome to the Board! (I hide on the Twin Talk discussions.)

Old time poster and old time owner.

New black rocket in my shed. Just as fast and as good as the old one I racked up on a twistie. Was my fault and was not my fault. I was racing a lil ol sport bike, like a 500 susie Q...we go round corner, he goes inside, me, on big ol Rocket bike, go outside...I accelerate him and pase. Nest curve, I go outside, he goes inside, then lost it, I guess. Smaked me in the side, bikes went to hell and me in bar ditch tumble tumble tumble. Broke bike. Brok legs. Hurt pride. lol Ambulance drivers very nice. I got ones phone number, he is now, number one in my love life. Gotta love a paramedic with big brown eyes and curly hair....and a steady JOB.

The other guy? Colar bone and arm. Both bikes gone to little bity pieces. Speed?? Around top end of fourth..I am thanking around 100 to 105 somewhere. I dint hunt him down and kill him, though I did entertain the thought for a couple months.

Anyway, I am back and new owner. I am walking, no drips, no runs, no errors, ,me. His fault for loosing the bike and his nerve, me, for trusting him. I knew better, he was a noobie on bike, I thank.

Tried sending you a PM but it wouldn't let me until I've posted 10 times. Drop an email my way when any rides come up or if you'd want to meet sometime to compare notes and ideas on the R3!

Hi there my name is Kevin and I live on the Gold Coast in Australia, have a 2006 Red Rocket III, and have racked up 4500kms since last week of January.
Mods are minor, with sissy bar/pack rack to stop the wife leaving when the wrist action gets to much, tank protectors and Cat box removal.
More add ons in the near future is a bigger pillion pad(thought it was the shaft drive whining), panniers/bags for the weekend get-a-way

Ferret here. I've had my Rocket 3 for about 3 weeks now. Still kinda crappy up here (ne Mass) but im riding whenever I can. Havent put anything on it but miles. And an american flag for a Patriot Guard ride. I'll probably be on here alot, I like information, and there seems to be alot here.

So far, the only thing I dont like about it is the horn.

PS, Im a chick.
