Hi Walt, The Corbin seat is more comfortable than the stock seat but I can't comment on the differance between the Corbin and the Triumph gel seat though. The Corbin may be too firm for some riders. I have done about five hours in one day on the Corbin and my backside was starting to get sore

. The R3T is going to make you stop every 150 to 200 miles to refuel so you'll get a break. The backrest has alot of adjustment but you cant do it on the move. Must use an allen wrench and I've had to use migrating locktight on the screws to keep the adjustment from changing. The backrest folds down flat against spring pressure to allow you to swing your leg over. The dual temp heating element is really nice on those cold mornings

. It stays on for one hour and then you must reset it. Wired the way Corbin says it can be turned on with the key off so the seat will be warm when your ready to ride but it will shut off if you get side tracked and won't kill the bat. It could be easily wired differantly though. All seats with the heating element will have the same stitch pattern on the seating surfaces to keep the elements from moving. When ordering the seat they ask your instep measurement so they can adjust seat hieght to allow you to place your feet flat on the ground. The problem with all the custom seats is cost and just sitting on one for a few minutes is not going to let you know what your buns are going to feel like after 400 miles

. It installs with just the rear fastener, instead of the three like the stock seat.
