Hondax and his Rocket

Of course I was saying cheese, but with the brisk 20mph North wind, it was more like chchchchchchchchcheese. :-D

Wow! Those chrome side covers look nice with that red. I like the look of those D&D's too. I will have to pick me up some sometime this year.. .

Boy you sure stepped up from the rest of the bikes in your stable... lol. I wish I had every Trail 70 that I worked on as a teenager. Those things are like gold now days. Don't know why Honda doesn't reproduce them.

I really love the older Honda's. I'm anxious to finish my Scrambler and try my hand at some Classic Road Rallies this year(what ever they're called). A real pleasure to work on.
As to why they don't make CT70 anymore, they did try from 1991 to 1994. Sales were dismal. The later models were a shadow of their former self. Early models were more portable with folding handlebars and great looking with candy paints and chrome galore. Competition from other manufacturers and I believe ATV production in the late 70's on, started their demise.

Sounds great! I think I'm going to wait for warmer weather so I can get my photographer to shoot me shirtless while lifting the front end of my Rocket. My ripped abdominals and sculptured arms will contrast nicely with the graceful lines of my Rocket.

The Ladies deserve nothing less!

Didn't realise the chrome sides looked so good!

Great shot. Apart from the fact the big geezer behind it makes the bike look tiny, lol.

You are all very humorous! My wife thought the bike looks small next to me also. Yeah, yeah great minds think alike!!

It sure does have a lot of chrome. I like the look of the matching painted side panels but since I already have them in chrome and love the look, I'll keep um!

:-D

I've seen pictures of the Corbin panniers, they call them beetle bags, with matching paint, specifically made for the Rocket 3. They are the best looking I've seen yet. The outside curvature mimics that of the tank and fender creating a seamless look. Really quite awesome: Here's a link: http://www.corbin.com/triumph/tr3bag.shtml

Give your least wanted cherub a haircut and new clothes cuz your gunna need to sell him/her into slavery to afford the $1,199.00 price tag.

The owner of Corbin may own several yachts, but that's a far cry away from Toyota Internationale's owner with 85+ yachts and counting.
