Finally!

Well guys just bought myself a Rocket III. I have to go to Ft. Lauderdale to pick it up. I will fly in and ride back, weather permitting. It is a 2006 loaded to the gills. I will ask a few questions down the line. Happy to be part of your group.

I'd rather live one day as a Lion than 1000 years as a sheep.

Congratulations on purchasing the "new to you" Rocket III.

I just re-acquired a 2008 like what I'd traded away last year.

The Rocket IIIs are special bikes, and each one deserves a curator. And in spite of the whiny stories about how Triumph didn't treat this customer or that customer like they'd hoped, it seems in most of the stories that Triumph did a decent job, and in many cases more than decent. My own experience with Triumph on my first 2008 was better than could have been hoped for.

So ... welcome. And don't forget to be respectful of the Behemoth Class 800 pounder with more torque than many small cars. Remember, there are only two wheels there. :-)

Congrats on your purchase. I'm one of the "whinies", with an '05. Triumph did a "respectable" job in backing me up with my recent problem and the dealer did an "outstanding" job repairing the beast. I was lost without it. Anything other than a Rocket would be a step or two backwards!

...and the Rocket's red glare

The jig is up.
The news is out.
They finally found me!

Wow, nice! The Rocket III was given that name for a reason.

1. When are you going after your new Beast?

2. What's wrong with living life as a sheep?

We trudge on.

Flying to Ft. Lauderdale Sunday. Will start heading back on Monday. As for the sheep. If you don't know I probably could not explain it to you.
