My hands were sweating as I picked up the socket driver, the blood pounded in my ears, my mouth was dry, but I steadied myself, griped hard aaaaaannnd... undid the 3 bolts holding the bitchpad on and tossed it in my spare parts crate. It was a beautiful moment. Feeling like a grade 1 mechanic I tackled the 'way too low' licence plate , remounted it 4 inches higher and removed the 'little kids bicycle' reflector from underneath to better show off the monster rear rubber.

Thanks guys for inspiring me to taking the road less travelled!

I better take a shower.

You're makin' me nervous.

Pretty soon you will be proping the gas tank up just to see what's under there..

Yep, sounds like he's hooked boys and girls. It always starts with the bitchpad, then the plate and reflector (gotta see the rear tire). Next he'll be making excuses- that cat box is so heavy, I just wanted it a little louder, how do they expect this poor engine to breath from under the seat with all that heavy duct work?
Next you'll have to build a shelf unit to hold all the parts you removed, I went to Home Depot to pick up mine. ;-)
WELCOME.

No doubt about it I have opened pandora's box. Last night I went to Partsource and ordered 3 K&N RU-2780s and today I'm picking up a cat bypass from my dealer. ToystoreTom has me sold on maddog pipes which I'll wait until Jan to order so as not to have too much of a "bike blip" on the bank account. Once everything is on and it warms up a bit, I'll be riding to the nearest PCIII shop to get one installed and have the R3 dynoed. Will be sure to post as I go along.

Thanks for all the help guys!

O.

Hey Oakvillerat,
Before you order any K&N's, take a look at these posts regarding them...
