The dealer a little north of Atlanta, Triumph of North Georgia (Machines In Motion), adjusted my fuel gauge perfectly without removing the tank. They had a tool that they used to reach down inside the tank and bend the sender arm. I think they made this tool themselves. They did it for me for free when I was having my differential recall done a while back. Nice group of people up there.

I am VERY interested in whether you can describe what kind of tool they used and what process.
Was it as simplie as a 'bent coathanger' stuck down through the gas filler opening?
Sure would be an easier way to adjust the non-functional fuel light than removing the sensor/filter assembly..............
