How about a "accurate" readable gas gauge, and for those of us who work on our bikes Stainless steal or higher grade nuts and bolts that don't rust or strip..An accessory plug for the heated suit would be nice too...

How about a hard case touring trunk that does'nt cost $1500.

Be nice to have a single shifter, since I don't use the rocker shifter on my R3 classic. Don't want to cut this one.

How about a keyless ignition system. That way you don't have take your key out of your pocket and don't have to fuss with getting the key in if you have a windshield or fairing? Lot's of cars, even low end cars are coming with them now a day's, shouldn't be that hard.

I justt bought and 08 and the gas gauge is funky on it, is there an adjustment?
It said I had 59 miles left after riding 90 and I only got 3 gallons to go in. It needs to be corrected before group riding starts

R3owners.com has a post that tells you how to adjust the gas guage. It requires removing the fuel tank, removing the sensor and bending a bar...kind of like a toilet adjustment.

The dealer a little north of Atlanta, Triumph of North Georgia (Machines In Motion), adjusted my fuel gauge perfectly without removing the tank. They had a tool that they used to reach down inside the tank and bend the sender arm. I think they made this tool themselves. They did it for me for free when I was having my differential recall done a while back. Nice group of people up there.

I am VERY interested in whether you can describe what kind of tool they used and what process.

Was it as simplie as a 'bent coathanger' stuck down through the gas filler opening?

Sure would be an easier way to adjust the non-functional fuel light than removing the sensor/filter assembly..............
