I rode Sport bikes for years. Loved the speed. I am 6'3" and they are too cramped for the long haul. Been there, done that, got the t-Shirt. I moved to a Harley and was plesantly surprised. Harley may not have it when it comes to power, but they are miles ahead of everyone else in creating functional stuff. I can have my Road King stripped down and cruising the town one minute and two minutes later, have the windshield, touring seat, driver and passanger backrests, along with a two up rack installed. Or, I could have popped on my tour pak for a long road trip. They make functional stuff, and that is what I want. I am wanting a Rocket III bad, but I am in CMA and stay on the road alot. I need to be able to haul stuff.

Oh, anyone tried the Jardan Pipes yet?

Just wondering if you could point me in the right direction for the clear indicator lenses and coloured bulbs. Thinking the same way myself. I just fitted Tbars and pro mini contour mirrors to mine and I am wrapped in the look.

Thanks

Relocate the ignition switch! I don't know about you guys, but right on top, dead in the middle, facing straight up (so water or rain can run right in) isn't a good place for it.

I'm with you guys on this idea. That thing is the "ugly" part on a nice bike otherwise. I will do some experimenting this winter with this . I wish for more pipe options also. Seems so easy to adapt to. Looking for ideas here. Just bought mine 1 week ago (06' classic) took her apart tonight and it's getting painted this week, do not like the 2 tone red/white combination at all. Hoping to find a mate finish that I saw on a Honda in 05' (dark grey metallic) ? any suggestions?

Looking forward to seeing it in new "clothes"

Dennis
