Put me down for a serious looking and highly functional scoop intake to replace the bearclaw. I'll be running triple K&ns /deleted bearclaw/ next spring but would invest in an aftermarket scoop in a second.

my .02c

The seat pictured there is what Triumph calls the Lowrider (gel) seat... there is some discussion about it actually being a gel seat?? I didn't like it and went to the Corbin Fast Gun which I like a whole lot better...

The Fast Gun seat does look awesome. That's the only reason (or lack thereof) why there's one on my Rocket. But, quite frankly, I wish it were not that needlessly low and, perhaps as a result, not that masochistic-ally hard.

Any clue about re-working Corbin saddles? In this case, inserting some padding between the plastic frame and the leather upholstery in order to raise both its height and its comfort level :???:

Jamie, how many miles do you have on the Corbin seat? I think they are supposed to take 1500-2000 miles to contour to your behind.

Close to 4000 miles. That's the seat. Over one hundred times that since 1967. That's my behind.

Should the latter defer to the former?

How about an adapter to use with a Sears type (two arms) motorcycle jack for lifting the Rocket?
