You know.... if it was a snake... it would have bit me....

Something that almost everyone has fooled with or wants:

Some sort of trick intake system that would replace the bearclaw, it would probably have a forward facing scoop with a K&N style filter in it. It would have a finisher for the tank to tidy that up but for my taste the whole affair would be somewhat open so you can see the throttle bodies some... I would want it to look very mechanical and nasty... don't cover that stuff up, we want to scare V Rod owners :-D :-D

Tom, you hit the nail on the head!!! The intake area has to be the lamest point of the bike, the bear claw has got to go.
I agree, it has to be exposed and mean looking, and a cover for the area just below the tank. I've done the 3 K&Ns but the area looks a little too open.
I don't need much else. I respect others but I myself don't care for a bunch of chome tidbits.

HEEL/TOE SHIFTER for OEM Rider Pegs!!!
They (RIVCO) have them for their floorboards, I think, but I dislike floorboards.
Need heel/toe shifter for limited mobility left foot.

Thank you very much!!

Tom,

I agree, a new air intake cover showing some of the intakes and allowing for better airflow is a great idea!

Another item on the wish list would be even a higher windshield than the roadster. I have the largest Memphis Fats on my other bike and looking through the windshield instead of over it makes for a much smoother vision, no bobble-heading, and I won't miss those bugs between the eyes either.

chrome switch covers and maybe internal wiring in the bars also lindby style crash bars would be nice. I agree with the intake stuff as well.

Although I'm not a Rocket III owner, I have two other Triumphs (99 Tbird sport and 02 Bonnie). I've looked at the R3 but I do a lot of touring (...ok, I admit I do that on my Beemer). But the one negative to me for the R3 is the lack of available hard bags DESIGNED FOR THE BIKE. I don't like the Givi's for most bikes because they stick out so far. There are few bikes they beautify. Functionally they're fine but, to my taste they're unsightly.

So...how about R3 compatible hard bags?

Burlington, WI? That's where I live (well, five miles away). What's about Burlington, Wisconsin?

Toystoretom, what kind of seat is that, anyway?
