Anyone have any extensive experiences with running this set-up in the rain? And I'm not talking about a mad dash for cover or a light sprinkle... Real rain - extended ride time.

I've owned one bike in my life that could not be run in the rain, can't do that again... Tried many but never did find a rain cover that really worked for long.

Please don't think we are ignoring you.... I don't have the 3 filter setup so I don't know, all I can do is speculate. I have a buddy that has a Harley that has one of those flapper scoop things that acts like a funnel in the rain. If it rains hard enough it causes his bike to misfire... consider it water injection. It doesn't appear to do any damage to it however, such as hydrolocking, rusting the cylinders, or getting water into the crankcase.

I wouldn't think the 3 filter setup would be as bad as that scoop, but I really don't know. I do have the K&N under the tank filter (RU-5111) and have ridden in two rainstorms, one an absolute downpour, and that doesn't even appear to get wet.....

If you don't mind my asking... what does the "Lost 202" signify? I know its the name of your riding club but what does it mean???

No rain storms in my area since 3 filter install, southern CA. I'd like to know also.
