Hey Trackerjack..
I think that the " O2 sensor controller" and the "dynojet O2 controller" are they same thing, ie the device that you plug into the O2 sensor harness. This is a curious deal. I hooked an OBD II scanner up to my bike with the PC III installed and the O2 sensor controller fitted (which bypasses the O2 sensor) and I was able to pull up a reading for the O2 sensor and it fluctuated back and forth between rich and lean just as if there was an O2 sensor hooked up. This controller must mimic the actual O2 sensor but it probably changes the info the ECM recieves to fool it into what the PC III wants it to do...
This, however, makes no sense. From what I understand the PC III keeps the ECM in open loop... therefore the ECM doesn't even look at O2 sensor readings, but runs off of a predetermined fuel map curve. If the bike were to go into closed loop it would then start reading the O2 sensor.
I can only guess what difference, if any, there is between the Euro maps and the USA maps. I could understand if they were for France and Germany specifically as they have power restricting tunes....
You may have to email the PC III people to get answers.
Tomo
