Honestly, I think it looks hot. If I could have both, I think I would.

It looks cool as hell but I think the new design will finally put to rest the debate about if the V-Max is a cruiser. That bike in no way resembles a cruiser. Looks kinda like the Speed Triple.

It DOES look a little bit like the Speed Triple... except for that seat that appears to be made out of shiney bowling ball rubber...

It will be interesting to see what the engine does. There are a few that have added fuel injection to the existing VMaxes and have seen 140 HP at the rear wheel. My main ***** about my VMax is the carbs...I have become very good at balancing them
Just got the Sprint back from the barrel jump...had to replace fairings, parts came in from UK 3 weeks!

the v-max has been the only mass produced cruiser to crossed 1320 feet in the 10's regularly in stock form so i'm sure 'if' this new max is produced, it'll be stronger and faster but i'm into looks first so we'll see what it will look like 'if' it's ever produced or re-designed. if it's ugly in my eyes, i don't care if it has 1000hp, i would not fork my hard earned money for it.

I think it looks ***** sweet, but cruiser it is not. Definitely smacks of a naked sport. Now if Yamaha tries to market it as the fastest production cruiser around, I will have to call them on their baloney but still, if it promises to perform better than the original, I certainly would consider it for my garage.
