I am doing the 500 mile oil change on my new Rocket. The manual says "Incorporating a new washer" refit the sump plugs.
The center plug has an O-ring about halfway up but the two smaller plugs do not have any type of gaskets,O-rings or sealing washers on them.
Is this correct?
thanks! :???:

The 2 other plugs do have a metal washer on them...Just stuck to the crank case, most likely.

I bought new washers..but did not use them...

Just change the oil and do not over torque the oil plugs and you should be good to go

I thought that may be the case and tried to get them off the block.I'll try a little harder and see if they are there.

Do all three have the same washer?
Thanks!
