Leaving tommorow morning to check on my house and
business in metairie. I have had some encourging report on my house, may not have gotten that much water in it.
I hope my r3 is alright had to leave her behind in my shed. Please everyone pray for the people who have not been found yet. I have been thru many of these
storms and people are resourseful but only for so long.
I was fortunate in that i came to natchitoches louisiana and found a hotel room. However we have to small poodles and they saw them and threw us out of the comfort inn along
with 16 other people.
We were blessed that one of my customers lives here and allowed us to stay with him for as long as we like.
All the people here have been great !!!
We can only go in and check on our homes, then we are suppose to leave (we can go in at 6:00am and there is
a 6:00pm curfew)

Thanks
Mike B.

Good luck... I hope things aren't too bad. I can't believe they tossed you out because you had two small dogs. As a pet owner myself that kinda chaps my hide,

I was thinking in all the mayhem going on down there who is trying to save lost pets? I know saving human life takes top priority, but ya gotta think about the critters too. Funny... I haven't seen the PETA people down there... they are a pain in the butt everywhere else....

I hope your bikes are OK. If it looks like they have been wet disonnect the battery and don't even turn them on. If you can change all the lubricants and dry out the electrical stuff before you power them up there is a good chance they may be OK....

Tomo

Good advice. However I think the ECU always has power applied so if it got wet, it will be toast.

Anyway Mike, best of luck to you. Hope everything works out in the end.

Beercan, Hope all is well with your bike, house and possesions. I was wondering if any Rocket owners were in your predicament.

There is probably not much we can do as individuals on the other side of the world except give to the appeals however my heart goes out to you as do the rest of us here downunder. We are no strangers to disaster ourselves eg Cyclone Tracy, Christmas day 1974 or thereabouts which reduced Darwin NT to rubble.

We'll be thinkin' of you when we watch the news every night bro.

Davo
