Did anyone changed the front fender of the Rocket III? I'm thinking of placing a smaller one, closer to the tire.
Any experience? and if so, what brand did you use?
Thanks.

I have a fender for a V-Rod, Black in color, Made out of Aluminum, with Chrome mounting bracket, I used 2 chrome universal straps and only had to drill 2 holes, All parts totaled about 300.00 but it was worth it, Looks awesome.
Send private email address and I will send photos.
I also have a short rear fender that shows off the fat tire, I only have 30.00 invested in it.

See my album I made one out of an FXR harley rear guard. But beware I mounted it approx 12mm from the tyre and at 230kph the tyre expands enough to just touch the guard and melt the paint!!!

Hey Doc, easy fix, just hold her back a bees dick to say 220kph. This should solve yer problems with blistering paint.

Hope this works, Davo

Walt, I like the V-Rod fender idea. Can you please send me pictures detailing how you mounted it? I bought a wrecked Rocket and one of the things it needs is a new front fender!
