hi folks
Can anyone help me out here I would like to hire a Rocket because luck has it that I will be able to get in a 3 day tour round San Francisco area end of Sept whilst visiting from the UK on business. I have tried searching the Web but no luck yet.

Works out that I have a couple of Options
Start and finish in San Francisco, looping south.
Or, ride from Los Angeles to San Francisco,

Both are mouth watering prospects !

Earlier this year I did SanFran north on a Harley round Wine country and Highway 1 - the experience blew my mind. Started solo, ended up riding with a bunch of others after someone overheard my accent asking for a cup of tea at a rest stop.
(Only problem was doing the ride on a Harley !!)

Cheers
Richard

Your best bet for a Rocket might be one of the exotic *car* rental agencies (it will be expensive!!!) Some of them carry a few bikes too that are rentable due to being unusual, and the Rocket would qualify there I think. The easiest bikes to find for rent in the US are Harleys, and only Sportsters can be had at anything like a sane price --because they don't think you'll go very far on it.

On the subject of rental Rockets, dont forget to look us up if you want to tour downunder in the land of red dust plains. We have a Rocket, Bonneville America and shortly, a Speedmaster available for rental.

Click on Rocket Rentalfor details.

Dude,

I'm gonna be vacationing in San Fran the last week of September, and I'm renting a BMW 1200GS from Dubbleju Rentals. They have a Bonneville America to rent, but no Rockets...

I love my Rocket, but always wanted to ride the big Beemer, so here goes...

Maybe we'll meet up for tea!

***** guys, too bad it my busy time of the year. I'm half way between SF and LA in Central coast wine country. (why I'm busy, harvest) I'd love to hook up and ride part of your trip. Great roads around here. Be sure to check outHERE for any number of great rides anywhere out here. If I can be of assistance PM me.
