Hello from Kansas City Missouri

This is my 05 Rocket its been a bit of a project as it was abused by some previous owner who removed all exhaust from the header back and fitted a dune buggy muffler on it. Timing had also been messed up. But with only 10k mileage i decided to dive in! Now has 13K Jardines, Power commander and with help from Engle motors with the tune it ROCKS!

g'day forum,
ive owned an 07 sprint st since new, thinking about a rocket 3 touring, i have ridden a standard rocket with the 240 wide back tyre on it and found it down right scary on twisty mountain roads, havent had a chance to try the touring model yet (with the sensible rear tyre), has anybody tryed both, and is there a difference???
any other tips or advice would be cool too

Greeting from the great Wyoming Frontier. I bought an '05 R3 I saw on line from a Beemer dealer in chattanooga Tennessee in December of '09. More than doubled the original miles last year and plan on at least that again this year. Wife was so impressed she went out and got a new Thunderbird just to keep up better. Always up for an adventure. Looking to hear from and ride with other Posts Legion Riders

Thumbs up Converted Harley Davidson RIder

Since 1990 I have owned 33 Harley Davidson Motorcycles. That being primarily due to a friendship I have with the owner of Appleton's in Clarksville, Tn. Still enjoy riding Harley's but after much discussion with my cousin who is the director of new Dealerships for Triumph I finally gave in and purchased a new 2011 Rocket III Touring. It does not have anywhere near the bells and whistles I had on my Road Glide or Electra Glide bikes but what a blast to ride! This bike has absolutely more than enough power to make you smile, handles much better that any of the Harley Davidson's I have owned and actually stops when you apply the brakes. To be honest I miss the sound of Harley's more than I would have imagined and they make a great bike. The problem is that Triumph has just twisted the throttle and gone around Harley Davidson with nothing in sight but horizon. If you have not ridden a Triumph lately I strongly suggest you give them a demo ride. I'm betting you will be as or more impressed than I am.

Put a pair of Jardins on there. You'll feel a LOT better. I promise

It's been a while....

Exhaust

Have an '05 R3 and am exhausted about exhaust choices. I like the Raask 3-1 but what's all the rumble about the Jardines and/or Tors? Help!
Don't want to lose my hearing, like the 3-1 idea and want some performance gain.
Thanks,
IndiTx
p.s. Back from a metric :~)
