depite having the touring gel seat I am finding long runs uncomfortable and worse still so is the wife!!
I have read lots of varying threads on seats and shocks but, what really works to give a good ride for both rider and pillion.
Please help before the wife starts really complaining. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks :???:

Hey Grimreaper, this is the hot ticket for a long and successful marriage. Do this and you'll be home'n'hosed:

Progressive shocks. 12.5" if you're vertically challenged or like the looow look. 13" if you value more ground clearance.

Better rear pillion seat with backrest.

Rivco floorboards with extender arms to provide me comfortable knee position and more foot position options.

Airhawk comfort seating cushion for the longer hauls.

Believe me, with this combination she'll be so happy, you'll be able to stay up late every night surfin' the forum long after she's gone to bed, go for long rides with your best riding buddies every two out of three weekends, and never be asked to do the dishes or carve the meat again. Life will be bliss for you mate! :-D :-D :-D

I checked the Rivo pass pegs and they are very kewl. Worth the price, no matter what, it is. Neat and kewl looking. Never rode the sissy pad, but some one who did told me they were very good to have, get the kind that is adjustable as you ride. Shift it around on the move. More leg postions = more comfort. Maybe.
