May be worth checking - while re-aligning my screen last week I noticed the left leg [sitting on bike] is 1.9mm higher in the top yoke compared to the right. Not sure what loading force, if any, this has on wheel & headstock bearings etc and if it's causing the front tyre to wear more on one side? I'm about to have my first set of new shoes so time will tell.
It may only be the R3's sold in the UK but as far as I'm aware all Rockets have their forks lined up in the yokes during assembly and before entering timber crates. Been over a year since mine came out the crate; too long ago to remember but I think the dealer only had to put handlebars & front wheel etc in place.
I've seen a number of new showroom R3's since with same fork higher...
Steve.

Both of my forks are the same. I would have that checked ASAP!

As the length of the forks and their components are all fixed length items of the same length, the forks should sit in the triple clamps at the same height.

This is easy to fix, simply lift the bike off the deck with a hydraulic bike stand, loosen the side you want to alter and tap the top of the fork down with a end of a hammer handle until they line up.

A 1.9mm difference in height is probably not going to make a huge difference to tyre wear or handling unless you are wanting to ride at Valentino's type velocities but it might make the axle more difficult to remove than it should when it comes time to remove the front wheel for tyre replacement.

On continental RIII's, it's the right leg that's 1.872 mm taller. KEEP LEFT

Other Motorcycle: Can't afford two!
Extra Motorcycle: Three would be insane
As Dave has already said - they should be set at thew same height in the trees - and check the bolts are toqued up to spec.
