For Rocket owners who own other streetbikes or who have easy access to other bikes, do you ride the other bikes very often, or does the Rocket's ability to do so many things so well result in not much time spent riding the other bikes?

I like to ride different bikes whenever I can. I just picked up my brother-in law's BMW K1200LT that I am selling for him. It used to be my bike. I have enjoyed riding it the past few days. I forgot that it's fun to have a bike with a stereo. The BMW LT is just too big for in town use, but it's great out on the highway.

I also frequently ride my wife's V-Rod just for a change.

I ride them all! Why not?? Each bike has it's own personality and style. I don't ride my son's T-Bird very much cause he's got drag bars and the riding position kills my hands. He, of course, loves it! Kids, huh? However, my Legend is very similar to the T-Bird but with old fart bars. LOL! As much as I love the Rocket (and I do !) , it's only one more great bike from Triumph. That ain't bad!

'72 T150 Trident and '73 850 Commando, both great bikes with great character.Unfortunately for them if there's any riding time available the RIII claims it.
Maybe this summer I'll give them some road time.
Can be confusing at times,Trident-right side shift,1 down 3 up,Norton-right side,1 up 3 down and of course RIII on the left.Must admit I've been caught out a few times!
Rocket On,Mike!!!

This one for the all days use. It's also a very funny bike on narrow twisty roads.

The Rocket for the power and the look.
The KLR for the agility.

One bike, one job, one woman, one RIII forum (?) ... and one liquor at a time. And the inter-relations between all the above are strained enough "as is"

Interesting how English as a second language is sometimes unintentionally accurate.

Once had a KLR650 myself and also thought its behavior in the twisties was per Webster, "strange; queer" :-D

My 2 bikes don't have much in common except being "large." They have totally different personalities, so it depends on what kinda mood I'm in as to which one but YES I ride both.

Kinda thinking about a 3rd bike. Miss having something a bit more lightweight and flickable.

I have a suggestion. May I present to you the next big thing, and my current lust object. Available in the US in February 2006.

KTM 950 Supermoto

This is going to be big. Sportbike power with dirtbike flickableness(is that a word?)
