Ordered my windscreen online from Windvest in the US on Friday and it was delivered safely and very well wrapped to my home in England on Monday !!

It came with clear and simple instructions so I installed it in minutes.

Cheaper (but UK buyers be warned - UK customs will add VAT/duty/etc. of around £65) and IMHO better looking than the Triumph options.

nb No connection with Windvest - just one very satisfied customer.

There are two chrome brackets which go on the handlebars first, and then the chrome cross bar on the screen fits to those brackets with just two Allen screws.

It should only be a matter of moments to undo those two screws and detatch the screen, leaving just the handlebar brackets in place - they would not look too ugly if left in place without the screen.

I understand National Cycle screens are the really quick detachable screens, but then they don't do one for the Rocket (see earlier post).

Windvest has excellent customer service, they replaced my year old crossbar with a new one, no problem. They even sent the new one before the return so that I wouldn't have to go without a windshield.

Nat'l was making promises of a Switchblade for the Rocket then changed their tune and said no definite plans last I heard. IME only their 2-point mounting systems are "really quick" and I'd call their 4-points "semi-quick."

"Really quick" windscreen release is the only race you better not get into with a HD :-D Theirs are so simple you wouldn't think it would even work--they just perch on 4 grommets not secured by anything more save a couple of little spring retainers. Very convenient, but ain't likely they'll be making any screens for Triumphs though
