I tried the search engine no results. Question. Hope that I am not beating a dead horse for you guys. I am normally on the twin board. Is there a rocket dresser version in the works? Any rumors?

I don't know of any specific rumors, but I think the Rocket III is an ideal platform for a dresser/cruiser.

There's a UK-only, limited edition RIII dresser, with factory-installed bags, windshield and all the stuff Triumph could recycle from its catalogue of options and accessories, including tanks with flames on them. Details on an earlier post of mine. I remember that a fellow forum member had inquired about the availability of that model in the USA and that the answer had been: NO WAY. Only 50 copies (25 each red and black) are available this year, all earmarked for UK mainland dealers (as the Triumph UK site later confirmed).

Now, it's conceivable that Triumph might be emulating HD by first TESTING the market place with such "Limited Edition" (or "Anniversary"...) issues. :???:

Been rumored since demise of the Trophy, because it is such a perfect platform and let's face it the Sprint ST is closer to a torture device than a touring bike so Triumph has a big hole there. Heard it would NOT be just a bagged cruiser (can already do that easily enough) but rather a distinct luxury touring model replete with factory fairing, stereo, cruise and such goodies to compete with Ultras, 'wings, beemer LT's etc, but still have a distinctly Triumph sporting flavor. It won't be just a me-too luxobarge. That's what I read on another board. Hope so!

Just got a confirmation from a starry-eyed Triumph dealer source that there might indeed be a new, RIII-derived Triumph grand tourer (full fairing et all) looming ahead. Hold your breath, Farky. Better yet: Stash your cash.
