Two points:
1. Had to get a Cat. 1 Thatcham alarm fitted to suit my insurance co. Went to Acumen in Andover because they were small and UK owned. Had superb service and now have very clever immobilizer and alarm which does things like warn you when the indicators have been left on and has a four way flasher mode etc etc
2. Then found that my insurance co. (Equity Red Star) were playing silly b***ers over the fact that I haven't yet got a UK number plate - so got a quote from Ebike insurance and instead of paying an extra £495 for my Rocket am now paying a TOTAL of £278.51 for Rocket and Vulcan combined, fully comp.

Well, consdering that a year ago people were having trouble getting quotes at all this all sounds pretty good ... maybe Lol keeping getting knocked off/over hasn't affected the general premium levels too much ...
