Has anyone installed Baker air wings on the RIII? I had them before on a Valk and it was one of the best aftermarket things I added. Thanks-Ken B.

Talk to Ogre (Andy). He has them on his bike. He is away on vacation now though.

Ogre--thanks for the reply to my inquiry. I don't have crashbars so it sounds like I would need to mount the Universal kit without the clamp directly to the radiator. Did you have to drill any additional holes or make additional mounting hardware? Thanks again-Ken B.

Andy--Thanks for your help on this one. I understand what you're saying now. The install apparently is quite simple so I'll give the folks at Baker a call to get this coming. Thanks again for your help--Ken B.

I just ordered a set of the Baker air wings for my Rocket. Once I get them and have a chance to try them out, I will report on how they work.

I got the universal set with uppers and chrome clamps, they run $199.95 plus $14.95 shipping. They said that they would be shipped out next day.

Vonbons--I just ordered mine and, in accordance with Ogre's advice, I left off the clamp hardware since I'm not attaching it to a crashbar. This lowered the price to $159.95 plus shipping and included the remaining mounting hardware and the uppers and lowers. The part number that Baker said I was getting was UBMAWUP with chrome hardware and dark smoke panels. Hope this helps--Ken B.

I'd love to hear more about the air wings and see some more pics from the front and side (OGRE??) they look pretty neat and add a certain cruisy style to the bike..

Got my Baker air wings last night and put them on the Triumph engine gaurd bars. The install went pretty fast once I threw away the instructions that came with them. Went out for a ride today and they do make a difference, it is still hot at 98 deg. F and high humidity, but my right leg was not burning up like it did without the air wings. I think that they will be better when the weather turns cold and they can be used to block the wind on your legs and keep the engine heat on your legs.
