Nine Rockets one T/Bird and a Victory Hammer set of from The Euro Shop of Waco and headed out to Rockett TX (Photo Op).
We meandered our way up to lake Whitney and had some breakfast and picked up another Rocket, it was then on to Rockett, nice little run around the back roads and eventually arrived, trying not to blink just in case we would miss the place completely. we picked up yet another Rocket and then we pulled in for some photo's and then of to lunch at the Rockett cafe & Club.
The weather held off until we started to head back home, it was then that the sky opened and it was pointless to stop and don wet gear. so we just kept on going. the day was good and we thank Triumph North America for supplying door prizes, much appreciated.

Hey Bob, did you wear your kilt??? Ride sounded fantastic and a great venue as well. Did they do anything special for you... like a story for the local paper... a special menu with rocket salad or anything?

Wish I was there, Davo

As the last Rocket to join this group I missed out on the ride up from Waco but more than made up for it by meeting the best bunch of rocket riders and pillions. We had cold drinks and food at the aforementioned establishment and a big thank you must go to Triumph for supplying the door prizes for catagories as varied as oldest rider to most un-aerodynamic Rocket (go figure). Thanks also to Multibob for taking the pictures and (I think organizing the whole thing).

My first experience of a salvo was bloody excellent.

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I broke in my Rocket III in Rockett Texas. 500 miles exactly on the speedo by the time we hit the water tower and cafe. Barnsey, It was a real pleasure to meet up with you at the cafe. I hope you enjoyed the (wet) ride north after lunch. Bob, Mark, Trey and I did heading south. I look forward to doing this again soon. I would like to thank Euroshop of Waco for a real cool ride. Superb job Bob leading the event.

Bob, your bike sounds great!

I am not disappointed giving up my RS for the Rocket III.

We are doing this again. Start planning for July Aug time frame. This is worth the ride. Nothing like it in the world!

Rockett's just a tad south of Dallas, right?

Hope your get-together in the summer doesn't conflict with Baxter rally.

I'd like to ride down and couple others in this neck of the woods might as well (Tom?)
