I have a suggestion. Since probably most members on triumphrat.net don't scan through the areas they should,and some as myself still don't know where the forum it was posted clean up, pictures , PM'S ... private info ph#'s directions etc.
Plus some one stated there was a weeks notice maybe a 2 week NOTICE would be better because people being on vacations and such.
Any ways the suggestion if its not to much trouble would be
to Post something like this caps SHAWN'S CLEANING HOUSE
in each chat room area.
Members in each chat forum read it when you POST!!
Then they can copy & paste , print, save links ,pictures etc.
Example....I lost in pm's 2 members phone numbers that
I plan to ride with 1000 miles away when I go on another vacation in 2 week ( last of this month )

There's no doubt, TriumphRat.Net is a large site. It's difficult for anyone to keep track of all the information that flows through here.

At the same time, it would be an unreasonable expectation for me to take additional time posting the same information across multiple places on TriumphRat.Net. However, I do what I can to post such information in common places that everyone can see.

The Private Messaging system is designed to just be a basic messaging function, not a service to be depended on. Although I have the ability and means to make it so, it would require financial support.

Therein lies a conundrum; I have approval from Triumph to use the Logo - and Vendors/Dealers can advertise to support the site. However, I would be "crossing the line" to offer a service to users under Triumph's copyrighted names - because it conflicts with the official RAT and the benefits they choose to provide it's paying members.

So even if users offerred to pay for a TriumphRat.Net messaging/email service, with storage & delivery guarantees, I couldn't take the money or even provide it for free if I wanted to.

This is the same reason no one sees TriumphRat.Net stickers, TShirts, Sponsored Vehicles, Advertising, Journals, or an employed staff.

It may not be the answer everyone wants to hear, but it is what it is.
