Corbins got a bunch of them already! I got the solo seat and love it. Did over 800 miles last weekend and no pain. But that's me. Seats are real personal.
The really nice thing about the Corbin is that it drops you about two inches and has a high back that really holds you on the bike when you crank the throttle. I no longer have to hold on for dear life with my hands like with the stock seat.
Good luck!

I have a Corbin Dual Touring seat with dual backrests which slip out if you are not using them. It is very comfortable and not bad looking either. They are HIGH dollar but I have had them on several bike and would use nothing else.

Fastgun (Corbin's # R3FG) is well made, real leather plus the custom semi-glossy faux carbon sides and back I had specified. It looks neat, its back replicating the rear mudguard and the mini-fairing V-shaped curves. It's over one inch lower than stock, granted, BUT ... it's much much HARDER! Fitting it has been of a bit of a chore, too. I had to raise the frame-mounted seat lock mechanism so that the Corbin would click-in and STAY locked. Remember other Corbin customers expressing such a -slight- reservation on this forum, if that's a consolation.
As TBAbob pointed out earlier: seats are a personal thing. And butt feel should prevail upon gutt feel or aesthetics. Best is of course to TRY them before placing the order, if you can!!!

Jamie....
Think outside the box.... Don't raise the seat release mechanism on the bike. Take the seat, unscrew the peg from the bottom of the seat, put a washer under it and screw it back in, which simply lowers the peg to reach the seat latch. My seat actually settled enough that I could remove the washer after just a few rides.
Tomo
Also, no matter what kind of seat you have, it helps to put a little wheel bearing grease on the peg and the seat latch mechanism. Makes seat removal a snap.

I had considered that first, Tomo. But, to me, it did not look like that peg could possibly be unscrewed !!!
Would be sensible if Corbin mentioned that adjustment of yours, don't you think?
Thanks for the info.

Hello Jamie,
If you have a closer look to the Corbin web site or to their seats mouting informations you will see a "spécial Notes and Info." chapter :
Special Notes and Info
NOTE: To ease installation until the rubber bumpers on the basepan break in, it may be necessary to add a couple washers between the Corbin basepan and latch pin.
Sure the Corbin seats are very hard but after a few hours of ride it's difficult to go back to the stock seats. It's a question of habit.
Same thing than with the Progressive 440 :-D
