Remember some of my earlier posts? All along, my objective was to change the RIII riding posture from that of a cruiser (feet forward) to that of a roadster (feet down) without going to a café racer crouch (feet backward), while gaining as much cornering clearance as possible.

All-inclusive, "Roadster" relocation kit now developed by Basset, the Geneva canton Triumph dealer, and road-tested by yours truly!

Features: Pegs moved back 30 cm (11.8 inches) and up about 1 cm (.4 inch). More importantly, in terms of banking angles, peg tip- to- peg tip bike width reduced by 6 cm (2.4 inches)

(Note: this is not an adjustable set-up).

Overall OEM fit and look preserved.

Contents: Custom-made, re-contoured steel undercarriage tubing, brake pedal and brake cylinder, gear lever mechanism, etc. plus all the necessary little bits and pieces. Takes an average wrench less than a couple of hours to install (or to remove, as there is no permanent alteration to the OEM configuration)

Tentative price ex-works: CHF 1'100.- or EUR 710.- or USD 880. -, all inclusive. Plus freight of course. Add approx. 40% for chrome-plated (versus standard glossy black-painted) undercarriage tubing.

Availability: 2 to 3 weeks.

Genuinely interested? Send me a PM with your full ID and home address (I speak English, French, Italian and some German). I'll mail you pics and a firm quote to your destination, incl. freight, if you want one. Eventual payment via inter-bank transfer to Basset

PS. I have NO commercial or financial interest whatsoever in this initiative.

PM to me suggesting that the post was overlooked or mistaken for yet another "foot forward poser" enabler. Hence its reappearance

Expensive but interesting part Jamie.
It Would be a good thing to have some pictures in the R III album to have an idea of the look and the quality.
Perhaps you could send some pics to Vonbonds, he will be happy to put them in the album.

Vonbonds, Sir, may I have your private e:mail address via PM to me, to send the pics to? I have had to erect so many miles of firewall around my PC's (for professional reasons, mine and wiffie's ) that I cannot e: post the pics on this forum. Thanks.

Given your experience with movement of the controls rearward, has anyone moved the foot controls forward? Say 1-3 inches?

My goal is not cornering clearance but comfort.

I'm thinkin' those might be about right, plus they will let me run the extra set of pegs on the crash bar lower for the best of both worlds.
