Has anyone changed their headlight set-up yet?? Not just the globes but replaced the lights?

Hi SteveRed i have not come across any pictures of anyone who has changed the light units yet. I have looked at it but i do like the bug eye look. There is a company in the States 'Lazer Star' who make small halogen lights which
'exile cycles' use and this can look quite neat depending what style you are going for. They can also be used for axillary spots.

Hey there Scotsmun... thought you were dead!... Yeah I want to keep the twin lamp look too. I like the look of these Adjure lamps but when i emailed them they couldn't tell me if they would fit the Rocket. They fit the Speed Triple I think. Do you have a link for 'Lazer Star'? Try this link... Page TitleCustom Dynamics Headlights

SteveRed,
Not sure what your agenda is for changing/modifying the headlights but mine was that I am an old fart with not-so-good night vision.
Here is what I did:
1. Installed the Triumph fog lights
2. Got rid of that joke of a horn and replaced with twin horns on front end fixing brackets used for fog lamps.
3. Installed a single PIA Quartz-Halogen Model XL2100 Driving Light where the OEM horn was.
4. Replaced the OEM headlight reflectors with Adjure ICE Lamps
5. Installed the Xenon-Krypton bulbs in the Adjure ICE Lamps

I use the PIA Driving Light during the daytime.
With all lights ON (Twin Headlights, Fogs and Driving Light) I create an artificial Sun at night. It is like a flame thrower...can see forever and plasma vaporize anything within 100 feet of the lights.

The wiring mods and mechanical bracket fabrication was not at all difficult. Added a Harley handlebar switch assembly to control all this stuff.

Need a pic???...let me know and I will post.

Gary

Hi SteveRed, rumors of my death have been greatly exagerated........ go to www.weekendconcepts.com to get to the lazer star section. Custom dynamics do some good flexible led arrays, also check out the led taillight/turn signal combined for the roadstar, this would probably work on the rocket and would tidy up the rear end real nice along with moving the plate over to the side.... food for thought
