I'm not going to be greedy like the previous posters. You may send a black one to me in California for some serious scientific testing. Since I already have a red one, send black and I'll test the differences in speed. This should nail the reason you should get right on this. PM for shipping address and thanks for picking up the tab.

I think this is thier way to move some of the over priced accessories that didn't sell. ($800.00 bucks for bags ) ( 3000.00 for not so custom paint)Just my guess

Aah, a fellow cynic I see! :razz: I was wondering if sales had already slowed to the point they had to start assembling "Special Editions". I keep reading things like, this dealer had 12 Rockets on the floor, this one 17 and knocked $2500 off the price. My dealer is throwing in the TORs and tune. Hey, maybe that makes it a Northwest Edition! :-D

Not sure what's so "Special" about this bike? A stock Rocket with Triumph after market parts installed that are readily available to anyone? "Special Edition"???
