throttle lock

It looks like the "vista cruise" throttle lock won't work on the Rocket. What are you usinging for a throttle lock?

I put a few fiber washers between the bar end weight and the throttle. They will add enough friction to hold the throttle open for a while. I can email a pic if you want.

"vista cruise", is that what you call it??
We call it something slightly different in Dublin :-D

Do a search and you should find a thread were someone adapted the vista cruise to work on a rocket. It's a very simple fix. That is the route I will take when I get around to it as the vista cruise at $27 is the most reasonable option.

I tried a search three times with no luck. I went ahead and bought the Vist Cruise. I'm going to try to come up with a way to do it. If i'm happy with it, I'll get back with you.

OK... I knew I saved a copy of the Vista Cruz mod pic... Whoever came up with it should get the credit, I just saved a pic of it. Simple fix... a small piece of strap aluminum is used to secure the unit to the throttle housing.
