How do I lift the seat?

Ok guys, I did a quick forum search, but....

I have the Triumph "touring seat with adjustable backrest" installed..

I read the manual, about turning the key and pushing down on the back of the seat, etc.... but it will not budge, so....

How do I "open" / "get up" my seat?

Many thanks, John.

This might help.. FYI... I hit mine with Tri-Flow every once and awhile.

Many thanks Triiick, there was a post in the thread you linked to by Lee that solved the conundrum for me.

I can now get to wiring in my farkles etc (as I can't find an accessory power outlet on the Rocket III).

The OEM lanyard to actuate the seat latch is too short. Put a zip tie (Catamount) on the lanyard so you have some purchase and keep it lubed up. It also helps to physically push down on the seat in the area of the release when pulling the lanyard.

The accessory outlet is on the right side (facing firward) just behind the side tin, or tucked under the seat. Has a black cover and also plugs into a battery tender.
