Uh... where did you hear of this? I want one, I want two... I have been thinking of a Rocket III or RIII Touring. I like the pipes on the touring but the overall look of the standard. I am not a big fan of chrome and am a fan of big power. This bike was made for me. The Triumph guys where reading my mind. I will be waiting for this bike to come out, and I WILL have one. (evil cackle) LOL,LOL,LOL.

Start saving your pennies and put your R3 in the paper

That's been kind of a sore point for TriumphRAT.net over the past few days. The Web page that was being quoted from was not intended to be made public yet. We had no way of knowing that at the time, unfortunately. Caused more than a few headaches! Word had already spread way beyond this site, though, so Paul Taylor of Triumph advised today that the embargo is lifted and the posts we were obliged to delete previously have been returned to view.

Now we can look at and talk about this interesting new development all we want.

Although, I have to wonder how many power cruiser diehards are really likely to abandon their Rockets for a roadster...even a monstrous one. Perhaps this will instead appeal to a new, slightly different segment of the market?

The torque should be around 285. New rear suspension units come with it but what about the front suspension.
If they redo the front along with the rear suspension, that alone should all another $1000.00 to the sticker price. Motor mods should add another $1200.00. Maybe they can keep it under $19,000.00.

Luv my Classic
