Question PC3 05 ROCKET 3 Question

I purchased a 05 Rocket 3 with Jardiens and pc 3 with K&N Filters
My question is, when the rocket gets warm I get a profuse stalling problem. Just had it dynoed and runs perfect but yesterday I ran the bike for 3 Plus hours started back firing and not holding Idol?? Wonder if pc3 is susceptible to getting hot and changing settings or What

Thanks in advance

Martin,
To answer your question, I'd have to know where your PC3 is located.
IF its behind the right or left side cover then no, it should be fine there, as that's where mine is.
What you may be looking at is a bad TPS.
There's two on your bike, the primary is the one that goes out.
My bike was idling up to 3200 RPM's and back down to 800 intermittently.
I could wiggle the wires coming out of the TPS and it'd straighten out for a while.
Triumph is replacing them with a new model.
They've been replacing them with exactly the same one, just new, which fixed the problem for awhile,
but now there's a new one and a new part number for it.
The dealers aren't allowed to put the replacment ones on.
They have to wait on the new ones to arrive from England.
The first ones arrive Wednesday.
The old part # T 1245003
The new part # T 1245113
According to Triumph of Tulsa.

I have Jardine Big Boss pipes on my R3 and the bike does backfire if I shut the throttle down and cruise up to the lights etc. It has always done this and as I bought it new and fitted the pipes staight on I dont know what it was like before the pipes. Sounds a bit cool tho. Not hard to rectify, just open the throttle a bit, dont leave it shut for so long. There is a gap in the pipe at the join under the right side where the pipe branches to left and right, not sure if this is the problem, tried to seal it but didn't work. I also use high octane gas, 98, and this helps, was reccemmended to me by the local mechanic. ( Harley machanic but we wont hold that against him ). As for the the stalling problem, I think this is peculiar to the R3, but also the 98oct gas has helped here too.

If you have Jardines you should be getting an extra 20hp from the bike, total of 165hp, it is even stamped on the side of the right pipe !!!!
