engine heat relief

Got a new Rocket III a couple of weeks ago and it is far and away the best bike I have ever had---What A Ride! the only problem is the heat coming off of the right side of the engine (exhaust side) and through the radiator while going down the road, it is cooking my right leg (it is already over 90 degrees here). Has anybody come up with something that can be done to get some relief from all that heat flowing by my leg? :???:

I have ridden my bike in plus 40 deg c days in shorts and have not had a problem with heat from the bike at all.Some one else on this forum was complaining of excessive heat and when they took the bike to there dealers,it had some strange tune in it,when they put the proper tune code in the bike it fixed the problem.I hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. I took the bike in for the 500 mile service yesterday, and it does seem to be running a little cooler. I asked the service manager if they needed to re flash the computer for the latest tune and that seemed to kind of throw him a bit (head scratching, blank look)

Ya got to ride it to get away from the heat. I live in FL and at the stop lights I can feel the heat and it isn't because I got the wrong tune in the Rocket3. 2300cc and no faring covering the engine is the reason for the heat!
