Photos of airdam fabrication and end plate templates posted in album. Should be able to print out actual size templates lads. Good luck.

Found a design fault yesterday with the new front fender.
The gap between the tyre and the fender is approx 1/2 an inch but when I stopped after a run up to 230 kph
[ 145mph] I noticed that the new paint had blistered along the centre of the fender. So that just goes to show how much the tyres expand.BUT that is NOTHING compared to what happened when I got home. I parked the bike in its shed and closed the door and was playing soccer with my grandson kicking the ball against the shed door when I heard a noise from inside, when I opened the door I found the one of the original rocket pipes had fallen of a shelf and punched a hole in the rear fender between the single seat and the tail light.
I said GOSH and closed the shed because I did not want to let my gandson see me hugging the bike crying and swearing.I may open the shed in a couple of days once I have calmed down!!! OR it may just be a sign that I need to modify the rear fender anyway. Ha Ha.

Man, that's nice! Maybe the Triumph folks will take a look...I really like it!

Whoops, I spoke too soon...Maybe they'd already looked at it and didn't like it?? :-D Photos

Thanks for the mail on the front fender, too bad about the rear one but looks like it's time to start bobbin' the back end, the rocket gods work in mysterious ways. Lucky it wasn't the tank that took the hit.

Dam and fender both look neat to me. Neat as in tempting. Compliments. Always felt the HD Heritage-inspired (needlessly fat and pompous) front fender looked err... uninspired compared to the rear one and somewhat at odds from the tank, side panels and saddle lines...
