If this is for real maybe we will see some more bolt on goodies for our Rockets.

Umm... huh?

"Triumph Rocket III RR Design is a new creation 'virtual pen' of Pius after a very particular Cafè Racer Daytona 675. You can see this stunning design in the 'Blog Triumph Ce Passione', a forum for Triumph’s fans." Sounds like a very poor translation of one of Che Passione's famous fantasy/Photoshop exercises, so I'm not going to hold my breath.

High compression pistons, more aggressive valve lift and timing, larger fuel injectors and an actual free flowing header to replace the exhaust "log" manifold and a stronger clutch would make 200 HP easily reachable.

The RIII motor is really in a low state of tune as it comes right now. As powerful as it is, there's still alot more horsepower available. Our compression ratio is only 8 to 1, or 8.5 to 1.

What we really need is a different ratios in the transmission. or a higher final drive ratio..

What's the max that Nev has produced? The V-Max is 197 HP at 9000 rpm with a compression ratio of 11.3:1. It's a long way from a stock R3 to that. The Rocket has a much longer stroke than the V-Max (94.3 mm vs 66 mm), which limits its maximum RPM.
