That's good to hear that they will be out and about soon.

I know people that have been waiting and waiting for these to be released.

I may be able pick up a nice cheap Speed Master or Rocket when they hit the floor as people trade up from a Speed Master or America and some may trade down to a smaller bike if they find their Rocket a bit more of a bike than they really wanted.

Either way it will be interesting to see what will happen.
Our local shop is waiting for a influx of the 900 twins wanting to be traded in on the new Thunderbird.

One of the reason I bought a Sprint apart from being a great bike is the Sprint would be easier to trade on the new Thunderbird or Rocket later.
I was looking for a cruiser and thought the Speed Master was a bit small and the Rocket was an over kill.

Now I have been lucky to have finally ridden them both, I must say that I do like both.
But you do get that BIG grin on the Rocket.

I think the Speedmaster is a better looking bike IMO. Hell all they needed to do was upgrade it with the new mill and saved a lot of bucks. But like you said it will be interesting to see it in persone
