Stupid question - but anyway

Sorry guy's new to the R3 (3 weeks).

Is this the cat bypass?
http://www.madss.com/eshopprod_cat_4...pgrade_Kit.htm

Looks fairly simple to install? Will I cause any damage by installing and riding to the dealer (25 miles) for the tune?

Many thanks

Yes it is. And I would shop around for better prices. If you have the stock exhaust I wouldn't worry about getting a new tune. The Triumph tunes for bypasses and off road pipes tend to restrict power by closing the secondary throttle plates more than the standard tune.

A 12-minute tune should be enough for adding a bypass. This is how you perform a 12 mintute tune:

1. Start the motor from cold without touching the throttle.
2. Let it idle until the fan cuts in.
3. Let it idle for a further 12 minutes.
4. Switch it off, job done.

Basically it clears all saved fuel trims in the ECU and allows it to change and adapt to the new set up immediately instead of over time.
