Noooobbbb

I'm the proud owner of a 1996 Sprint 900. Just picked it up on Saturday and as soon as I have a pic I will post it up.

It's old, but what a great bike. Maintained very well and only has 13K miles. Can't wait to get it tagged and really ride it!!

Welcome! You'll enjoy that bike, the 885 triples are great machines!

'96s actually go in the T3 forum, but I'm sure Dave or Don will move this thread over there. (Where pics will be demanded!)

Cheers,
-Kit

I'm so green I didn't even know which forum to be in!

Here's the only pic I have right now and it's pretty crappy, but I will take more soon. Bike is really clean and seemed to be well taken care of...let's hope! I think I got a good deal on it for the $$ I paid.

13,000 miles on a '96? It was a garage queen. I hope that you plan to remedy that. BTW, that was a good find.

Thanks for the compliments! The car in the background is actually a 72 Camaro that is quite a bit of fun too.

Do the prices in the NADA guide or KBB run true for these machines? NADA seems low to me. I paid $2600...does that sound reasonable?

A bike is worth what you'd pay for it. NADA is simply a guide. As clean as that bike appears in the photo, I'd pay what you did for it, and not feel a bit bad about it. Nice ride.
