Swingarm grease gun?

While i can understand Triumphs reason for using open bearings around the swingarm linkages, well actually i cant..., anyway its a bloody nusiance because i like most dont have the correct grease gun to renew the grease!

Where do you get the guns from, and what is your recomended grease to use?

Thanks.

A standard grease gun will do, although I found the addition of a flexible nozzle helpful as the fixed metal nozzle didn't quit give me clearance to get to the grease nipple on the underside of the lincage arm.

Molybdenum disulphide grease is the kiddy..local auto store will do both.

Thanks, will purchase over the winter, so your saying the nozle (on the end of the flexi) is a standard fitment then..

The grease gun will come with a fixed metal nozzle as standard (ie stick with a nipple attachment on the end) the flexi nozzle is an extra...you can get around it by lifting the bike further off the ground..a centre stand might do it but my paddock stand wouldn't.

You can see the gun I'm refering to on mottleybiker.com under working on my speed triple..replacing the rear shock if you are not sure what I mean. They are pretty cheap all in ;-)

When I do mine I can just get to them with the bike on the centrestand. Of you put a piece of wood down and then put the bike on the centre stand you will get a little more clearance.
