I had the same issue on 1992 CBR600F I owned a few years back.
That drama started when the bike was cutting out, seemingly starving for fuel. I discovered the internals of the petcock had been put in backwards. This meant the vacuum was closing the valve, hence the fuel starvation. The rubber diaphragm was perishing so some fuel was getting through. But all that is another (long) story....
The upshot was that I discovered virtually no manufacturer sold the rubber diaphragm as a separate part. I ended up buying the whole assembly at a cost of $250AUD!
The other option is to remove the buggered diaphragm and seal the unit up, or buy am after market one, so you're back to remembering to turn the fuel tap on and off all the time.
