This might be of interest to the Aussie contingent, I don't know if the R-Jays brand is available overseas.
Bought a pair of these gloves yesterday and got to try them in near sub zero temperatures today - great gloves!
They are thermal winter gloves but not at all bulky and awkward, very comfortable, warm and smart looking. They almost look like a summer glove, they are that neat.
They have a bit of kevlar protection across the knuckles and fingers and are easy to get on and off with decent velcro tabs that you can get a hold of.
