Daytona 1200 Charging Question

I have read many posts on improving later model Daytona wiring from the rectifier/regulator for improved electrical performance; Albeit means little, given I have an integrated automotive-style alternator.

Is there a way to improve the electrical performance for those of us with automotive-style alternators...Specifically, dimming headlights on idle(1200rpm)?

Triumph charging systems don't really start charging until 2500+ rpm so either set your idle higher (jk) or get out of traffic
