overfilling oil?

I've overfilled my oil by about 3mm over the uper mark of the dipstick of my 93 Sprint..... laugh at me for being paranoid, but is that ok or should I try to get some out...?

I mean the bike's had a lot of agro thrown at it over the years, but I do try to be gentle with it

I think you will get conflicting advice...me I would run with it after all the difference between hot oil & cold oil, checking on stand or sitting on it could give you a bigger difference on the dip stick than that..;-)
