'96 900 Trident mufflers

I'm looking for a set of aftermarket mufflers for a '96 900 Trident.Used, but in good shape.I'm not even sure which companies made them, but don't want D&D's as they're TOO loud.

Yosh, Art, Renegade, Scorpion, Micron, Remus, etc... there are many, though wots available is worth a Ebay search to begin with and a 6 month search! Try a few Triumph dealers, some may have a few stashed away - try Matt Capri at Southbay... or figure the outside diameter and buy wot you like and fits, jet accordingly - perhaps. D&D are somewhat loud, I do agree - if you can find a complete system with header and cans (and in good nick), buy it. New the Sebring was $900, the Yosh was just over half that but they are rare and probably pricey - the Yosh is a great performer but no oil filter access, unlike the Sebring( official T's race pipe) but both are re-packable, as a good can should be!

I had a pair of Micron's on my 96 sprint and besides being too loud, they sounded too bright because they were so small in diameter.
Found a half price deal on a pair of Staintune pipes for the 96. They fit incredibly well with no mid pipe. They come with a pair of inserts to quiet them down a bit, and sound very throaty and produce a nice note.
They are very pricey if you don't get them with a discount since they are solid stainless steel and built to last.

I'd really like to find a pair of Yoshimura slip ons.My buddy has a pair on his '96 Speed 3 and that's the sound I'm after.I'd be happy with the Staintunes,if I could get a half price deal like you, menelfloss.Guess I'll try and post in the classifieds sectiion.
