Where do you mount your UK Tax Disc?

Hi,

After 12 years of being mounted on one of the front caliper bolts, my tax disc holder broke (while trying to insert a new disc).

I have a new holder, and there must be a better place to locate it - any ideas? Where is your tax disc holder located?

Hi GeoffE.

I had been mounting mine on the brake caliper mounting bolt as well...until recently, I had a quick nose around and used one of the vacant lugs on the rear subframe. It is still quite visible and tucked just a little more out of the way...I used some washers to make sure there was plenty of clearance for the hugger etc etc...like so...

in all the times I've been stopped I've never had a problem with having my tax disc in my pocket or doing a "provider" if necessary. I think the disc is ugly/can snap off or get nicked
