Hi warthog,
I have a Trident 750cc not the 900cc Sprint and have only had it 3 months. However from what I hear the front and rear suspension could do with upgrading. When I got my bike the previous owner had fitted progressive front springs and added 20W fork oil. The rear shock had also been replaced with a Hagon unit.
I have no complaints about my suspension and certainly have no patter from the front end. I would guess this is due to the suspension mods undertaken. However I would try out different suspension settings on your Sprint to see if you can cure it, if not check out the fork oil and maybe replace it with the recommended quantity and SAE depending on the year this should be 10w or 15w I would try the 15w as I understand the later sprints used this SAE. Quantity of oil to use will be either 109mm or 117mm again depending on the year.
Again i can't comment on the top speed of your sprint but I would guess you are close to the limit at 130mph on a track of course

depending on your riding style then 40MPG I would guess is about right, you should get more on a good legal speed motorway run. Others here may well have more experience of the Sprint and can advise you better on your questions. :???: Glad you are enjoying your Sprint though. :yayyy:
